The Laco Atacama has been one of the most distinctive models in the Pforzheim watch manufacturer's range for years, designed to meet the highest demands in the field. With the **Atacama.3**, Laco is now presenting a consistently enhanced new edition of the proven **Atacama.2** — more robust, more ergonomic, and more refined down to the last detail. At first glance, much remains familiar: the striking design, the unique case shape, and the distinctive countdown bezel are central features of the third generation. However, numerous improvements have been made to the surface and design, making the watch even more suitable for use, both in everyday life and under extreme conditions.

A key aspect of the evolution is the case profile. Inspired by the flatter quartz variant, the height has been significantly reduced and is now under 12 millimeters. In combination with the flexible lugs, this noticeably improves wearing comfort. Despite its striking 46mm diameter, the tapered case shape fits snugly on the wrist and remains comfortable even during long periods of use. The crown is complemented by a highly practical detail: an orange marking signals at a glance whether it is correctly screwed down, which is crucial for the guaranteed water resistance of up to **50 ATM**.
The dial has also been revised. The newly beveled outer ring gives the watch more visual depth and improves readability, even from a shallow angle. Generously applied **Superluminova** ensures reliable visibility in the dark and in low-light conditions. The two-tone design of the hands makes it easier to orient oneself at a glance.
